Temple Sinai of Palm Beach
County is a mid-sized Reform Jewish congregation. We are located
conveniently about a quarter of a mile west of I-95 on West Atlantic Avenue.
Just minutes from downtown Delray Beach, we, in fact, are the only Reform congregation within
the city limits of Delray.
In
1978, after
meeting in various homes, a small group of committed Jewish families
residing in Delray Beach recognized the need for a Reform Jewish Congregation in
our
community and proceeded to take steps to establish one.
Religious services for a number of years were held in various churches in the area. And
as a
result of a growing membership, the congregation broke ground for its own place
of worship on May 22, 1983. Temple Sinai of Palm Beach County was dedicated on August 12, 1984.

Like many traditional synagogues, Temple Sinai
is operated by
Officers and a Board of Trustees.
It
is supported by a Committee structure of volunteers who each run their
area of interest and representatives from the Sisterhood and Brotherhood.
We encourage all members to
become active
on a Committee to optimize their overall Temple Sinai experience.
We publish a monthly newsletter,
The Tablet,
for our membership. It is filled with information and articles each
month such as the calendar of events, holiday schedules and
unique columns from our Clergy, Temple Officers and congregants.
For so many of us, Temple Sinai is a cherished
"Home Away From Home." Please come and visit with us and share the "Magic of

Adult Education
Temple Sinai has one of the most stimulating Adult Education programs
you will find anywhere in South Florida. Whether you are interested in
a crash course in Hebrew or Yiddish, prayer study, Giants of Jewish thought, current events,
studio art, yoga or Jewish meditation, you will find a stimulating Adult Education program to meet your needs.

Join us for a
D’VAR TORAH (Torah study) meeting at
Temple Sinai, 2475 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, every Saturday
morning after our 10 AM service; followed by a hearty kiddush and
delightful discussion which will inspire you for the coming week.
